Verse Of The Week

John 15:1-3

John 15:1-3

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.”

This week's action:

Action:

Stay Connected to Christ: Make intentional time daily to pray, read Scripture, and let His words guide your choices. Examine Your Fruit: Reflect on whether your actions show love, kindness, patience, and humility. Allow Pruning: Welcome correction, challenges, or discipline as ways God shapes you to be more fruitful.

How:

Abide by prioritizing consistency over perfection. That might mean: Setting aside 10 minutes in the morning for prayer and Scripture. Journaling at the end of the day about moments where you saw God’s hand pruning or refining you. Choosing one habit this week that draws you closer to Christ (e.g., memorizing a short verse, fasting from distractions, or practicing encouragement).

Reminder:

God’s pruning isn’t punishment—it’s preparation for greater fruit. Even seasons of difficulty may be His way of shaping you into someone stronger and more fruitful.
