“Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness.”
This week's action:
Action:
Choose one virtue listed in the verse (e.g., self-control) and intentionally practice it throughout your week.
Ask TFJ`s Peter Apostle, “how would you recommend practicing (self-control) on a day-to-day basis?
How:
Set a daily check-in (morning or evening) to reflect on situations where that virtue was challenged.
Ask: “Did I show self-control today? Where could I improve?”
Pair this with TFJ&Pray or new journal submissions for accountability and growth.
Reminder:
Growth in faith is a process, not a performance. God honors your effort, even when it’s messy.
“Make every effort” doesn’t mean perfection—it means persistence.
