Your Reflection

Every year at the start of the year, God place is a word on my heart for that year for 2026. I believe God is putting the word “yield” on my heart. What is the Bible say about yielding? God help me understand this.

Insight/Reflection: Dear friend, it’s beautiful to see how God is speaking to you through the word “yield.” Yielding to God means surrendering our will and desires to His, trusting that His plans are far greater than our own. It may not always be easy, but when we yield to Him, we open ourselves up to His blessings and guidance in our lives.

Verse to Memorize: Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This familiar verse reminds us of the importance of yielding to God in all aspects of our lives. When we trust in Him completely and submit to His ways, He promises to lead us on the right path.

Verse to Uphold: James 4:7 – “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” In yielding to God, we must also resist the temptations and distractions that come from the enemy. By submitting to God and standing firm in our faith, we can overcome any obstacles in our way.
