Yeah, struggling to let go and let God.

Your Reflection

So it’s been a rough eight weeks or so. My wife is experiencing potential autoimmune. She’s had biopsies for cancer. She’s had tons of blood work done. She’s been on antibiotics, and right now there seems to be no answer. Today was actually her toughest day, and it’s hard to sit by and be so helpless and watch her not only struggle physically, but because it’s an ailment to her face and she can’t figure it out. She doesn’t want to go outside and she’s starting to get I don’t know if depressed is the right word but she started to really struggle with the mental battle as well. And so yeah just want to talk about that and I’m trying to find solutions because I’m a problem solver and I don’t know what to do.

TFJ's Insight

Insight/Reflection: I can only imagine how difficult it must be to watch your wife go through such a challenging time. It’s natural to want to fix things, but sometimes all we can do is offer our love and support. Remember, even in our most helpless moments, God is always in control.

Verse to Memorize: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

Verse to Uphold: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

Verse to Seek: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31

Application: When you feel overwhelmed by your wife’s struggles, remember to give your worries and fears to God, knowing that He cares deeply for both of you. Trust in His promise to be near to the brokenhearted and to renew your strength as you wait on Him.

Custom Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lift up this dear soul and their wife to you in this difficult time. Grant them peace in the midst of uncertainty, strength to face each day, and hope to cling to your promises. May they feel your loving presence and find comfort in knowing that you are always near. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
