Tomorrow is not promised

Your Reflection

It’s true that tomorrow is not guaranteed, and it’s a reminder for us to live each day with purpose and gratitude. In times of uncertainty, we can find comfort in knowing that our faith can sustain us through any challenges that may come our way. Let’s strive to make the most of each moment we are given.

**Verse to Memorize:**
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

**Application:** This verse reminds us that even though tomorrow is uncertain, God has a plan for our lives that is filled with hope and purpose. We can find peace in knowing that we are in His hands, no matter what the future holds.

**Verse to Uphold:**
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” – Psalm 90:12

**Application:** This verse encourages us to be mindful of the brevity of life and to use our time wisely. By seeking wisdom and living intentionally each day, we can make the most of the time we have been given.

**Verse to Seek:**
“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit’— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” – James 4:13-14

**Application:** This verse serves as a reminder that our lives are fleeting and that we should not boast about our plans for the future, but instead humbly submit to God’s will. It encourages us to live in the present moment and trust in God’s sovereignty over our lives.

**Prayer:** Heavenly Father, help us to live each day with purpose and gratitude, knowing that our time on this earth is limited. Grant us the wisdom to seek Your will in all things and to trust in Your plans for our future. Amen.
