TFJ's Insight
Insight/Reflection: I understand that feeling tested can be challenging and overwhelming at times. It’s important to remember that these tests can ultimately strengthen our faith and character. Embrace the trials as opportunities for growth and trust that God is always with you, guiding you through every test.
Three Bible verses:
Verse to Memorize: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” – James 1:2-3
Verse to Uphold: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13
Verse to Seek: “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
Application:
The verse to memorize reminds us to find joy in the midst of trials, knowing that they are refining our faith. It encourages us to persevere and trust in God’s plan.
The verse to uphold assures us that we are not alone in our trials and that God will always provide a way for us to endure. We can find strength in knowing that we are never faced with more than we can handle.
The verse to seek challenges us to shift our focus from our present struggles to the eternal glory that awaits us. It prompts us to have a perspective rooted in faith and hope, rather than temporary challenges.
Custom Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up this precious soul who is feeling tested today. Grant them the strength and perseverance to face their trials with joy, knowing that you are by their side every step of the way. May they find peace in knowing that their light and momentary troubles are working for an eternal glory beyond compare. Amen.
