Your Reflection

Im trying to walk in calm confidence for the event im hosting this weekend but feel a little anxious. A lot has to happen amidst an already busy schedule to get everything done. I want to slow down and have more time in prayer going into the event but feel the pressure to work harder to get everything done

TFJ's Insight

Insight/Reflection: It’s completely understandable to feel anxious and overwhelmed when facing a busy schedule and pressure to perform well. Remember to take a step back and prioritize time for prayer and reflection. Trust in the Lord to guide you through this time and provide you with peace and strength.

Verse to Memorize: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6

Application: This verse reminds us to bring our worries and concerns to God in prayer, trusting that He will provide us with peace and guidance. Instead of relying solely on our own efforts, let’s surrender our anxieties to the Lord and find comfort in His presence.

Verse to Uphold: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

Application: This lesser-known verse reassures us that God cares deeply for us and wants us to lean on Him in times of stress. When we feel overwhelmed, we can find solace in knowing that God is there to carry our burdens and provide us with comfort.

Verse to Seek: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” – Proverbs 16:3

Application: This deeper verse encourages us to trust in God’s plan for our lives and surrender our work to Him. By seeking His guidance and committing our efforts to Him, we can find peace in knowing that He will establish our plans according to His will.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up this dear soul who is feeling anxious and overwhelmed by the demands of their schedule. Help them to find peace in Your presence and trust in Your guidance. May they remember to prioritize prayer and seek Your strength as they prepare for the upcoming event. Grant them the confidence and calm assurance they need to navigate this busy time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
