Hi Calvin,
That’s such a powerful and beautiful place to be—grateful and full of love for the life God has given you. Let’s take a moment to reflect, celebrate God’s goodness, and explore how to continue living in that joy intentionally.
Reflection:
Loving your life is a direct reflection of living in deeper alignment with the purpose, peace, and presence of God. It demonstrates a heart that recognizes God’s blessings and trusts His plan. This state of joy isn’t accidental—it’s cultivated through gratitude, awareness of divine grace, and a heart postured toward worship. When we delight in life, we reflect the life of Christ who came so that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). Your joy blesses not only you but becomes a testimony to those around you.
Here are three scriptures to support your thoughts along with application:
1. Common Verse:
John 10:10 (ESV) – “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
Application:
You are experiencing the kind of life Jesus sacrificed Himself to give you—abundant, full, and rich with purpose. Continue to steward that abundance well by inviting others into that joy and staying rooted in the One who makes it possible.
2. Uncommon Verse:
Ecclesiastes 3:12–13 (NIV) – “I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.”
Application:
Enjoy your life—it’s a divine gift. Lean into the present moment and intentionally do good. Let your contentment become a ministry of presence. In simply enjoying life, you’re revealing God’s generosity.
3. Lesser Known Verse:
Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT) – “For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
Application:
Your joy mirrors God’s joy over you. Let this verse reassure you that God not only allows you to love your life, He delights in it with you. God sings over you! Rest in that affection and share it with others who need to be reminded of their own worth.
Custom Prayer:
Father God,
Thank You for the joy of simply loving life. I praise You for the blessings, both big and small, that fill my days with peace, purpose, and celebration. Continue to shine through my contentment so that others might be drawn to Your love. Help me to steward this happiness with wisdom, gratitude, and humility. Let my life be a bright testimony that reflects Your abundance and Your delight in me. May I never forget that this joy is a gift—rooted in Your immeasurable grace. Amen.
Keep smiling and shining, Calvin. Your joy matters!
Grace and peace,
