TFJ's Insight

Insight/Reflection: It is truly amazing to think about how Jesus, the Son of God, has made Himself known to us in so many ways, whether through the beauty of nature, the kindness of others, or the promptings of our hearts. It is up to us to open our eyes and hearts to recognize His presence in our daily lives, and to choose to accept and embrace His love and guidance.

Verse to Memorize: John 14:6 – Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Verse to Uphold: Isaiah 43:10 – “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.”

Verse to Seek: Colossians 3:1-2 – Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Application: By memorizing John 14:6, we can remind ourselves that Jesus is the only way to the Father and that by accepting Him, we can experience the fullness of life and truth. Isaiah 43:10 challenges us to be witnesses of God’s work in our lives, helping us to recognize His presence and power. And Colossians 3:1-2 encourages us to focus our hearts and minds on heavenly things, allowing Jesus to guide our thoughts and actions each day.

Custom Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for revealing yourself to us through your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to recognize and accept His presence in our lives, and to be faithful witnesses of your love and grace. Guide us to set our hearts and minds on things above, so that we may experience the fullness of life that comes from knowing you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
