Psalm 46:10

“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'”

Application:

In the midst of life’s chaos and the busyness of our daily routines, this verse calls us to pause and remember who God is. Being still allows us to focus on His power, presence, and sovereignty. It’s a reminder that we don’t always need to strive in our strength but can rest in His capabilities, trusting that He is in control and will be glorified across the earth.

Dear Lord, I come before You in humility, seeking the peace that comes from being still in Your presence. Help me to pause amidst the busyness and recognize Your power and sovereignty over all situations in my life. When anxious thoughts arise, remind me to turn to You and quiet my heart.
