Romans 13:14 (NIV) Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. It can be easy to fall into habits or thought patterns that pull us away from living as Jesus taught. Paul’s encouragement challenges us to put on Christ daily—making conscious choices to represent Him in our attitudes and actions, and avoiding the pursuit of selfish desires. As we focus on living in a way that honors God, we find strength and joy in reflecting Jesus’ compassion and purity to those around us. Lord Jesus, I desire to be clothed in Your love and righteousness today. Please help me to choose thoughts and actions that reflect who You are, and give me the discipline to turn away from anything that draws me toward selfishness or sin. Fill me with Your Spirit so I may honor You with my life and show Your grace to others. Amen.
