Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Application: In this three-part call, we are encouraged to maintain a joyful attitude rooted in hope, exercise patience during times of difficulty, and continually engage in prayer. This triad is a formula for resilience, teaching us to let joy spring from hopeful expectations, patience endure through life’s inevitable challenges, and faithfulness in prayer maintain our connection to God. Custom Prayer: Lord, help me remain joyful as I place my hope in Your promises. Teach me the patience I need when facing challenging and trying times. Strengthen my commitment to be faithful in prayer, maintaining a constant dialogue with You. Let this counsel fill my days, shaping my responses and bringing peace to my heart.
