Bible Verse: Hebrews 12:1 (NIV) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Application: In life, we often find ourselves weighed down by burdens and distractions that keep us from living out our full potential in Christ. Hebrews 12:1 encourages us to shed these hindrances and sins, urging us to persevere in the race of faith set before us. Surrounded by examples of faith from those who have gone before us, we are reminded that this journey is not a solitary one. Let us focus on what truly matters, removing distractions and continuously moving forward with determination and endurance. Let’s Pray: Gracious Lord, as I journey through life, help me to recognize and cast aside anything that hinders my walk with You. Grant me the strength and perseverance needed to run the race marked out for me with faith and courage. I look to the faithful examples of those who have gone before me, and I ask for Your guidance as I seek to follow their paths of trust and obedience. Keep my eyes focused on You, and lead me closer to Your will each day. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
