John 16:33 (NIV)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Application:
Jesus acknowledges that we will face challenges and difficulties, but He encourages us to find peace in Him. No matter what troubles and trials come our way, we can hold onto the reassurance that He has already overcome the world. His victory gives us hope and confidence to face each day with courage and faith.
Custom Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the peace that is found in You, even amidst life’s challenges. Though troubles come my way, reinforce my heart with the reminder that You have overcome the world. Help me to take heart and stand firm in Your victory, resting in the comfort of Your promises. Strengthen my faith to trust in You through every storm, leaning into Your everlasting peace. Amen.
