Not knowing the correct way to pray

Published On: July 23, 2025.

Bible Verse:
“And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.” – Matthew 6:7Daily Application:
Prayer is not about using fancy words or reciting lengthy speeches. It is about having a genuine conversation with God, pouring out our hearts to Him in honesty and humility. God already knows our needs and desires before we even speak them, so there is no need to impress Him with eloquent language. Instead, we are called to approach Him with a childlike faith, trusting that He hears us and cares for us deeply.Custom

Prayer:
Dear Lord, teach me how to pray with sincerity and simplicity. Help me to come before You with a humble heart, laying bare my thoughts and feelings without pretense. May my prayers be a sweet offering to You, a fragrant aroma rising up to Your throne. Thank You for always listening to me, even when my words fail me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
