Hebrews 12:1
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
Application:
This verse encourages us to be inspired by the faithful examples of those who have gone before us. We can strive to remove anything that holds us back from a faithful pursuit of God’s purpose. Remembering we are not alone and with determination, we can continue through challenges, focusing on the path God has set in front of us.

Lord, thank You for the cloud of witnesses who inspire us through their steadfast faith. Help me to discard anything that impedes my journey with You. Grant me the perseverance to run the race You have prepared for me with focus and determination. Keep my steps steady and my spirit uplifted, trusting always in Your guidance. In Jesus’ name, Amen
