### Verse
1 Peter 5:6-7
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
### Application
Life often presents challenges that stir up anxiety and stress. This verse invites us to humble ourselves before God, acknowledging that His hand is mighty and trustworthy. By handing over our cares and anxieties to Him, we find liberation from burdens and must trust in His sovereign timing. Remember, while we patiently wait, God knowingly prepares greater things for us beyond those worries we relinquish.

Dear Lord, I come before You in humility, knowing that Your mighty hand is my shield and source of strength. Help me, like a child before their father, to cast aside my worries and lay them at Your feet, trusting in Your gracious care for me. Enable me to continue in humility and patience, resting assured that Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good. May Your peace guide my heart as I trust in You with unwavering faith.
