**Journal Entry Reflection**

**Prayers for Others and Anticipation for the Future**: Reflecting on the needs of those affected by Hurricane Milton and the excitement for an upcoming wedding.

“Today, I’m reflecting on the impact of Hurricane Milton on families, animals, and shelters in Florida. My heart goes out to those affected, and I am lifting them up in prayer. Additionally, as we anticipate our wedding in March, I find myself praying for God’s guidance in our financial preparations, trusting that everything will come together according to His plan. Despite the challenges, I feel ready to take on the rest of the week with hope and faith.”

**Scripture for Reflection**

1. **Comfort in Times of Trouble**: Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

This verse reminds us that in times of crisis, like the impact of Hurricane Milton, God is our refuge. We can find comfort and strength in Him as we pray for those in need.

2. **Trust in God’s Plans**: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

As you anticipate your wedding and seek financial stability, this verse reassures you that God has a good plan for your future. Trust in His timing and provision.

3. **Hope in Prayer**: Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

This scripture encourages you to bring your worries to God in prayer. As you pray for the families affected by the hurricane and for your own upcoming wedding, you can experience His peace amidst uncertainty.

**Custom Prayer**

“Heavenly Father, we come before You with open hearts, lifting up the families, animals, and shelters affected by Hurricane Milton. We ask for Your protection and provision for those in need. As we prepare for our wedding in March, we trust in Your plans and seek Your guidance in our financial decisions. Help us to remain hopeful and strong as we navigate these challenges. May Your peace guard our hearts and minds as we lean on You. Amen.”
