Bible Verse: 2 Timothy 1:7 “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” Application: This verse is a great reminder that the Holy Spirit inside of us emboldens us, equips us with power, infuses us with love, and instills in us self-discipline. It urges us to stand firm in the face of fear and people’s opinions thrown upon us. Rely on God’s power to courageously witness to Christ’s love in and out of season. Harnessing His strength naturally leads to becoming incredibly disciplined in taming and channeling our aspirations into outcomes that exalt Him! Let’s Pray: Lord Almighty, thank You for the powerful, loving, and disciplined Spirit You have placed within me. Help me to recognize when fear and timidity arise and remind me to cling to the strength You provide. I ask for wisdom in applying Your gift of self-discipline in my daily life choices. Enable me to walk in Your power confidently and love others as You love. Fill my thoughts and actions with Your presence each and every day. In Your divine name I pray, Amen.
