Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (NIV) “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Application: This passage encourages us not to be disheartened by the trials or challenges we face externally. It highlights the idea that even amidst personal struggles or difficulties, God is constantly working in us, renewing our spirit and fostering growth on the inside. Our current difficulties, though sometimes overwhelming, are temporary in comparison to the lasting glory and strength being forged within us. By focusing on this divine renewal and ultimate promise, we can find the strength to endure tough times. Let’s Pray: Lord of Love and Strength, thank you for continually renewing my spirit amid life’s hardships. Help me not to lose heart when outward troubles press on me, but instead, to recognize your presence and your work within me each day. May I remember that the challenges are preparing for me an eternal glory that surpasses any suffering of this world. Fill me with hope and perseverance, trusting in Your promises for my life.
