TFJ's Insight
Insight/Reflection: It is truly awe-inspiring to think about the power that God has given Jesus to forgive sins. This shows the depth of God’s love for us, that He would send His Son to offer us forgiveness and redemption. Let us remember that no sin is too great for God’s grace to cover, and that through Jesus, we can find true healing and restoration.
Verse to Memorize: “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” – Matthew 6:14
Verse to Uphold: “But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” – Psalm 130:4
Verse to Seek: “Jesus answered, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.’” – Luke 5:31-32
Application: As we reflect on the forgiveness that God offers us through Jesus, let us also remember the importance of extending that forgiveness to others. Just as we have been forgiven, so too should we forgive those who have wronged us, knowing that in doing so, we are reflecting God’s love and mercy.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the incredible gift of forgiveness that you offer us through Jesus. Help us to fully grasp the depth of your love and grace, and to extend that same forgiveness to others. May we always remember that through Jesus, we can find healing, redemption, and a renewed sense of purpose. Amen.
